I just got my first Amazon Basin Emerald Tree Boa! He is such a sweetie pie! Here is a few pics I snapped of him. He is quite chunky and very full bodied and he has recently shed, he had a bit left on his tail and I think he has retained his eye caps. I have got 4 northerns and never saw this before, but it looks like his eyes have a crackled glass look. I am going to try to give him a bath tomorrow and see if that helps. I just got him today but the lady I bought him from said he is used be being out cage and handled a lot. I knew the basins were quite larger than the northerns but this guys head is HUGE and he is just stunning to look at. His back is a dark green and his sides are lime green! He has a decent stripe mostly connected. He wasnt really expensive for a basin so I knew he wouldnt have a perfect stripe. But this guy to me is INCREDIBLE and I know I will defintely pick up another basin when I can afford it! I saw another post from I believe it was amazonbasins and his gravid gal BRENDA, she is REMARKABLE! Maybe one day I will able to afford one of her babies!
