I know that most of you are against this - if it's possible - but does anyone know if a Dumeril has ever successfully bred a Boa Constrictor? Again, I know this is a touchy issue, and I'm not asking if you think it SHOULD be done, but whether it has been done, or if it could be done, in your humble opinions. Given their geographic disparity, I wouldn't think so, but if I'm not mistaken, Dum's have been reclassified in the Boa genus, no? Is there genetic evidence to pair them so closely together?

thanks,
nate.
