my two were born in either 2002 or 2003... they're both still relatively small. Mine go into brumation over the winter... the male is quite a bit larger than the peach colored female. I just cleaned their tanks yesterday and fed them. I surprised how small they are for their age, but they're very healthy and look great! Great personalities on both - the male doesn't like being held, but that's probably because I handle him less than his sister. She's pretty docile - except after chillin' all winter... she's a little cranky in the spring for the first few days. Those are the only common snappers I've owned since I used to catch them when I was a little boy. I got these two siblings from a fellow Minnesotan here on the forums.
