Well actually, Northerns and Eastern breeding isn't hybridisation. This Mix will create an intergarde rather than a hybrid. The reason for this is due to the fact that both the northern and the Eastern are T. Scincoides. The Northern is a sub-species of the Eastern, hence the Intermedia.

Mixing these 2 is fine, as it occurs naturally. You will get alot of people telling you not to mix all the different types and generally that is due to the limited amount of pure stock in places like America. See, Australia (where I'm from) put a ban on the export of native Aussie animals back in the 70's, so with so many years gone by - the numbers of pure stock in america are dwindling.

I could go into it much more, and will if you'd like, but that's enough for now.

I hope I atleast straightened out the hybrid thing.
