The lamps won't get too hot which is one of the main reasons I don't use those Powersun type bulbs. They generate a lot of heat and there is some evidence that the intense UV those types of bulbs emit can cause eye damage. A double tube ReptiSun running at least 12 hours a day will provide good UV. Place your basking perch so the cham can get 18" or closer to the bulbs. Get new bulbs every 6 months as the amount of UV they produce drops off significantly at that time.
