This time of year they will be more common in the earlier morning and later afternoon and will hide from the heat during the day. This by no means is law but its how it generally works. You don't need a snare or noose to catch a Fence Lizard. Just start trying and you will pick up a method that works or you. I transplanted "for lack of a better word" a lot of Sceloporus at the rental I use to live in. I purchased my house last November and began putting some here that i would find at work.
