Greetings, strange inquiry for you this evening. I purchased this snake from LLL and she's been a very good feeder and quite charismatic, enjoys being held. Great pattern, Anery- She's around 5 feet. I'd tried putting her up with a male Sinaloan, and a Sinaloan X Pueblan x Nelson's. She was quite interested in them but the males were not interested. I've tried her with Corns, and again, no interest.
Tonight she tipped her water bowl, and in the humid aspen, started laying eggs. I'm placing them in an incubation box of HatchRite, (trying out tht stuff this year)-

My questions are:
Will females sometimes get so intrigued from just being around a male that they will experience a "false pregnancy"?
and,
How long can a snake retain viable sperm?

Curiously,
dave
