Or at least I don't think gout causes the white blood cell count to rise. He said that the blood work showed some muscle deterioration, and that the joint looked like the infection settled in it. I can ask about gout, though.

The joint really gets better every day. The little sneak is so much better that she got out of her tank the other day! LOL! Fortunately she did not wander into the part of the house where the mites have been!
