So I have 2 Elgaria kingii that we found while we were cleaning up the property here in Tombstone, AZ. We are running a Bird of Prey Show and a Herp Exhibit, so I kept the lizards for the exhibit (and we removed all the lumber they could have hid under)

Anyways, from day one, both lizards have been very mellow. They don't bit or thrash about as I remember Alligator Lizards doing in my youth in Southern California. They just sit quiet and motionless flicking their tongues like nothing is bothering them.

They make no attempt to run away. One of them is missing a foot, an both of them have had their tales taken at some point in time. I assume these are injuries due to cats in the neighborhood.

I was just wondering if anyone else had "tame" wild caught madreans.
