You can generally tell what sex it is by looking at the underside of the tail. Males have a longer tail than females of similar size and the females tail tapers more rapidly.

If you can post a photo we can probably tell you. However, don't post on this subforum since it gets very little traffic. Post on the main Rosy, Rubber, Sandboa forum.
