I can tell you from recent experience that they lay eggs.

I have mine in organic potting soil deep enough that they can completely bury themselves. They have a big enough water bowl that they can get into for bathing. Mine had a 95 degree basking spot on a cave all winter, and they did bask. Now they have natural slanted sun spots that move around the lidless viv all day in my open air animal room. Sometimes they follow it, sometimes not.

Mine get a staple diet of gut loaded crickets and super worms. They are super healthy and obviously happy enough to breed.
