It seems that everyone uses a different feeding method these days.
IN MY OPINION, go ahead and give her the second rat. I wouldn't go beyond that, if she is used to being feed once a week.
I have my Dums on a every other week feeding schedule right now. They get 2 appropriate sized rats each, depending on rat availablility. My big breeder female generally gets 2 XL rats at a time. BUT, if the pet store doesn't have enough XL's, I will get her 3 mediums. I TRY to keep the weight of the food at each feeding consistent. It doesn't always work out though.
But like I said, everyone uses a different method. The best thing to do is use the method that works out best for you. ----- Pat Higdon Oklahoma City Herpetological Society Member ![](images/smiles/smile.gif) 1.4.1 dumerils boas, 1.1 albino burmese python, 1.2 ball pythons, 2.2.1 bearded dragons, 2.2.1 leopard geckos & 0.0.1 sulcata tortoise
