Posted by: iguanafan at Sat May 30 14:15:04 2009 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by iguanafan ] I'm planning on getting an iguana but before i do i decided to have everything ready for him/her.I'm very handy and i like to DIY everything that I can.I've been told to have an enclosure ready for the iguana with the temp and humidity all setup.I've also been informed it sames money in the long run to have the enclosure fit to hold the iguanas full size.So being the DIY person I am, I've decided to make my own enclosure. The question is how big and if i should use glass, Plexiglas, or mesh screening for the windows. So far i've got a 5'tall 4'long and 3'wide iguana enclosure blueprints with a screen top, 2 side viewing windows and a double door front opening.I need advice on the window material and if the enclosure will last at least acouple years or will the iguana out grow it?Any and all advice is welcome thank you.
