Last seen Monroe La. Zoo. He server in the Army during the VN War, then went back to study them in the wild while the War was still going on. You might try a reptile book dist/collector. Tom Crutchfield might know where he is. He took me into a big display with him at the Zoo with an 18' king. The king rushed the door as he cracked in open, he got it to retreat with a fire hose so we could come all the way in to the big cage. I was happy to see its big square jaw bumping against the two inch crack in the door,but he insisted I come all the way in for a good look. You dont get to see a gaint one streached out to often.
