Hi all,

Spring is finally here and my mali (ichabod) is eating well again
although still very picky. He went into brumation(or so it
must have been) and really scared me as it was the first
true brumation I have seen.

My question is what is the normal shedding process and how
often do they shed? He has a large patch starting at the
head and it is about 1/2 way down his body. Is it normal
for them to shed large pieces of skin like this? His skin
underneath looks really good.

He was a rescue and is somewhat small for his age. I am
hoping with the shed he will grow a little.

Thanks in advance
Linda
