I've not had chondros hatch yet, but with my baby amazons I fed f/t pinkies. I made sure they were very hot using almost boiling water to heat the head a second before I fed. I offered at night and once they grabbed, I let it go. If they dropped it, I tried holding it with the tongs and wiggling until they held on.
