Hey everyone! I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for some advice/info. I currently have one 2 yr old PacMan frog. He or she?? lives in a 5.5 gallon tank with coconut fiber, moss, fake plants, undertank heater, and fluorescent light. He/She is 2yrs old but quite small for its age. I acquired it from a friend who was feeding it only mealworms (mealworms weren't fed) and it had no lighting or heat. Needless to say I think it is stunted in growth and barely eats for me. I have to literally rub mealworms on it's lips and then put the worm in it's mouth for it to eat. Has anyone encountered this before? any advice? Also I have a probe thermometer and it says that my tank can be anywhere from 74 to 87. Is 87 too hot? When the temp is in the 80's the frog's eyes are closed and it won't move, when the temp is in the 70's the frog's eyes are open and it looks alert? Do they require Undertank heaters? Also, what in anyone's opinion is the best substrate to use? I use moss and coconut fiber but I see pictures where people use rocks, gravel and water? I know I'm asking alot but I just want to make things better for my frog. Thanks, and I hope to hear from someone ![](images/smiles/smile.gif) ~T
