That's a good idea about drilling holes for rain. I hadn't thought of that, mainly cause we never get a significant amount of rain, but I may do that.

I'm not going to do any filtration. I'm going to rely on plant filtration. I bought the poppy I mentioned and I'm also going to put in some dwarf horsetail rush and moss. I'm sure I will have to do water changes, but hopefully not that much.
