I appreciate the info kelly, been keeping greens for 8 years but never breed them, although the swelling has been lasting close to two weeks thought maybe she was pregnant but needed more info. I keep my male and female in same enclosure so these things happen. Loved your article on captive breeding greens without large pools in reptiles magazine and kept that article with my library of info. My female is just now reaching breeding age but my male is right at thirteen feet and almost 80 pounds, the largest male i've ever seen though I know your friend jud has a large one too. Got the male (maliki) when he was 4 years old and about 7 feet and have had him for 8 yrs now. I keep retics too but anacondas always been my fave. Well thanx again for the info I appreciate it!
