Hi everyone. You were all wonderful when I had my Moutain Horns. Now I have two Mop Head Iggys. Right now they are in a 55 gallon tank. Soon to transport to a tall rep. tank. I have a male and female. I have heard to separate them. But they seem to be a pair. They sit together, and sometimes apart. I have seen no agression. So I am feeling as long as they are happy, I should keep them together. They seem to be a pair. They sit together, bask together. I brought them as a pair. They are about 18 inches from head to tail. I am aprehensive to separate them, because they really seem to want to be together. They actually sit together and sleep. I know regular iggys don't belong together, but this is a different breed with not much info. I have e-mailed a breeder for advise. PS: When I brought them, they were identified as a different breed and given a care sheet so I thought I was set. They were misdiagnosed. But, I fell in love, and realize I am their best chance, because I care. I would hate for someone to get them as a novelty and not care properly for them. Their names are Saferia and Emilio. As for possible breeding, I think they are kinda young and moving hem around may delay this. I know that if Sarafina lays eggs, it is up to us as to weather we want to hatch them. I will worry about that when it happens (responsibly). Any supporters out there?
