I've made an indoor pond since I recently had to move. I'm afraid, however, of the lack of sunlight for my turtles. I know that many mercury sun bulbs are out there, but they're out of my price range, for now. So for any experts out there, can you tell me if two hours is adequate for my eight turtles.
They'll get about 2 hours of sunlight in the morning, since I have them on an outside veranda where the sun shines through from about 7-9a. The rest of the time I do have heat lamps but have yet bought special lights and just use ordinary 100W bulbs.
I may buy some bulbs but would like to know whether or not this amount of sunlight is sufficient for my turtles. If I do have to buy bulbs, can someone direct me as to a reasonable store to buy from and one that delivers internationally?
Thanks
