Hi there

I've been reading the kingsnake forums for many years, but now that I actually needed to post couldn't remember my old login

Yesterday after much research my husband and I brought home a presumed male chubby frog. He looked amazing and did well at the store.

He is housed in a 10 gallon aquarium. The left corner is a waterfall with chubby frog size shallow pool at the bottom of it and hanging plants. We have 3 inches of substrate, there is a large wide flat piece of drift wood in the center of the tank. The wood offers a cave from behind and large place to crawl upon if he so chooses up towards the day or night light should he decide he's cold. We also have thick vines throughout, both near ground level and towards mid/top level.

In addition to the waterfall we mist as well.

Here's my concern he has disappeared into the substrate (we knew he'd bury of course)... When do we look for him? When should we worry and go digging for him, The substrate hasn't been disturbed so I don't believe he came out last night. Any words of advice would be very very welcome. Thank you so much for reading
