Chubby frogs are very good at both hiding under the substrate as well as climbing anything and everything including just the corner of a tank....all glass and nothing else. They are extremely good at climbing. If you provide alot of furniture for them to hide themselves and to climb on they will be more active and seen alot more. As stated above, I wouldn't worry too much just yet. What are the temps and the humidity in the tank?
