just yesterday i went into the reptile room and discovered that the female (who is bigger) of my diamondback terrapin pair had bitten off a little bit of both of the back feet of my male. i imediately took the male out of the tank and cleaned and disinfected his feet with a mixture of iodine and water. i then dry docked him and now i dont know what the best method of treatment for his feet should be, he is missing two toes on each foot but its just the tips of the toe and obviously the claws. he is about three and a half inches long and the female is about four and a half to five inches long, i am going to get a bigger tank for them today, they were being kept in a forty gallon tank but im going to go buy a fifty gallon or maybe a hundred and ten gallon for them after work. i think having a bigger tank will help. anybody on here had anything like this with their diamondback's? any input on what to use and for how long would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.
