Posted by: abstractart1026 at Fri Jun 19 09:38:14 2009 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by abstractart1026 ] the enclosure is a 10 gallon tank but it is wider than it is tall. i learned after the fact that it is more preferable for tree frogs to have a tall tank so they can climb more. on the bottom we have something called eco earth substrate. There are three rocks on one end and two rocks at the other end and there is one branch that extends from one bottom corner to the diagonal opposiste top corner. the high end of the branch is on the side that the light is aimed at. the lamp is made for a maximum 75 watt bulb but it has a 50 watt bulb in it. it is positioned on a clamp on the edge of the screen top. it points to the side opposite of the water dish. we have been changing the water in the water dish daily and adding 3 small crickets for each of the two frogs daily in the late afternoon. I don't know if there is a way to make sure they are each eating since they eat while we are asleep, but the crickets are being eaten. Thanks you. If you have any ideas about why the first one died, i would appreciate it. I would like to avoid killing anymore. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
