I currently own many Ball Pythons and usually lurk over in that forum. But for as long as I've owned Ball Pythons I've also loved Green Tree Pythons-just never owned one. And like the poster below, I am considering buying one. I am particularly partial to the ones that are brick red at birth, I think they are one of the most beautiful snakes I have ever seen. There is just so much information on Ball Pythons (books, videos, etc.), what would you consider the best source of information on keeping GTP's and what advice would you give to a first time potential owner?

Don't go looking for snakes--you might find them.
