>>I came across a few of these while hiking in Tayrona National Park in northeast Colombia. I haven't found out what kind it is from my searching on the internet. Any ideas?

Hi Terry;

My immediate thought was "man that looks like a very cool Dendrobates auratus! But, auratus does not come from Colombia".

So I did a bit of digging (googling really) and found this. Amphibiaweb does say D. auratus is indeed found in Colombia.

I do not know the region where your park is located. It is possibly on the Panama side of the Andes? If so, then perhaps I got lucky!
