leaving common snapper 3 weeks

i have a hatchling common,im gonna put it i a giant tote so the water stays clean and keep a container of mealworms with a hole in it on top of the tank,every day some worms will fall in.how long can it stay like this?also i will fill its belly with reptomin and cooked beef before i leave
