I was reading down the posts and noticed that it was mentioned that Blue Headed Greens are the result of Tokays breeding with Green Eyed Geckos I took a look at the GGA site but I cannot find what DadeHerper was referring to. Has anyone investigated this further? I have never kept Green Eyed Geckos and have no idea if this possible, not that I would think they weren't genetically compatible, I just know through my own experience of feeding my Tokays deformed gecko hatchlings they prefer geckos over anything else I have offered them. Would the Green Eyed Geckos stand a chance? My oldest male Tokay was about 10 years (that I had him anyway) and he was a monster he just never seemed to stop growing, would the Green Eyed Geckos size make a difference in the offspring? How big in general are Blue Headed Greens, and are they dwarfed by wild type Tokays? I am assuming my male is still young and I do not know his potential size.
