I have probably caught more toads and frogs actually than snakes in my day. They are really great critters! Two weeks ago we had frogs laying eggs in our pool before I put in any chemicals. I pulled the resulting eggs and set them up in a large plastic tub. Boiled some spinach and boom! The tiny tadpoles that you could barely even see are probably ten times the weight that they were when they hatched out. No legs that I can see yet. Soon enough.
