Posted by: Rosebuds at Mon Jul 6 16:28:30 2009 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Rosebuds ] IMO, I would clean it with 1.1 water/betadine using a q tip, apply a light coat of antibiotic ointment with another q tip, and keep her in a very clean environment, ie, no sand, clean paper towels, etc. A hospital tank for a few days might stress her a little, but an infection can be deadly. if there is blood, then you don't want that wound to get any debris in it or fester.
