I got him to a third vet who after the other two insisted on doing a culture then proscribed Baytril while we awaited results of the culture. It came back with resistant strain of Psuedomonas. So he proscribed Cipro which is a stronger version of Baytril usually used with humans! Hasn't lost any appetite still eating like a pig but starting to wonder about overweight at 11 inches and year old he now weighs in at 58 grams and looking a little chubby!
