Hello!
Just wanted to make a quick post to say hello. I am a new Iguana owner. I purchased my little guy (named him(?) magtheridon). His enclosure is custom made, it measures 70"Lx48"Hx20"W and for light I am using a 25" fluorescent tube for ambient light as well as a "full spectrum" bulb, a basking bulb and a 10.0 UVB bulb. Water is provided by a 13" water dish with a fountain in the middle. (changed often). I have a couple of digital thermo/hydrometers placed throughout the enclosure to keep an eye on things.

I am having trouble maintaining humidity level. I am currently misting every few hours, but since I teach at night it can be hard to keep the humidity level up when I'm not home. Does anyone have any experience with the automatic misters sold at petsmart?

I thought about designing a custom automatic misting system, does anyone have experience with that?

Thoughts?
