THat may be part of the problem.

We built a misting system using a PVC tube that went over the top screen portion of the cages and was attached to a humidifier. I *THINK* you can find ones like this in amphib areas. Basically attach the PVC to the humidifier and run it up the top with holes drilled in the pipe. This allows constant humidity flow. Also if you have large amounts of screening on the cage that is where much of it is going.
