I saw about 20 water snakes that day. Funny thing is that I was able to only catch one of them. And Im a pretty quick person, these snakes were just faster. Maybe cause they just drop in the water and are gone. Cant wait till black racer season in Sept/oct Anyway this place was loaded with northern water snakes.
