Breeding group of house snakes

I've got a 1.1 pair of normal brown house snakes, and will be getting a trio of lace or reds from Cherryville Farms after the eggs hatch and they start eating.

I am curious to know how these traits mix; is it a simple genetic trait like albinism or is it the product of selective breeding? I'm very much enjoying raising up my pair I have now, and will be breeding them hopefully in 2010; I'm trying to decide how to go about pairing them up.
