Mag seems to be doing much better now. We have a follow up visit on Friday. For a day or so before the first vet visit Mag was acting very sluggish and hiding a lot. As soon as we got back home he was back to his old self again, it dosen't even seem like he notices half of his tail is gone.

I think I'm making progress taming him as well. He is seeming to do better while being held. Still doesn't like being 'caught', but once I have him he calms down. Trouble with a bigger housing (the 8" Ig has a house that is 48"H 70"L and 20"W) is he has plenty of room to run away from me
