Last week he fell from his perch (about 30" and broke his tail (tail didn't come off). Over the next few days the tail began to turn gangrenous so a visit to the local exotic vet was in order. All in all it was a very pleasant visit, then again I wasn't the one getting half of my tail removed. Mag is parasite free and she was able to remove the infected portion of the tail at a fracture point. She also took the time to ask about housing and diet to make sure I was doing everything correctly (apparently even though it says UVB on the box dosen't mean its a good UVB bulb.
