Posted by: picky775 at Sat Aug 15 06:52:01 2009 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by picky775 ] Could anyone please help as my water dragon is very sick.I bought a pair last november, they were both the same size at roughly 10" snout to end of tail, they were housed in a large 6x4x2 viv with a 4x1 tropical tank in the base for them to swim etc,in the viv is a large rock with waterfall,a number of fake hanging vines/plants and a lot of branches for them to climb on.i have two basking lights and a heat matt at one end of the viv,90oc at basking end and 82oc at cool end, humidity is at 85 all day long due to the heated tropical tank so humidity and temps not a problem.i went away at the weekend and when i returned noticed one of the dragons floating in the water with its eyes closed,i picked it out and it was very lethargic and cold, this dragon has only grown 2 inches since november were as the other one is 3 times its size, took it to the vet and he said to seperate them and syringe feed it with a vit supplement for cats and also bathe it reptoboost and also give reptoboost as a drink also,Ive done this for the past 5 days but doesnt seem to be helping, dragon will not move from were it was last put in its new enclosre at all, will just sit there with both eyes closed and its head down on the floor, stools are very smelly and watery, only seems to poo and urinate when picked up for its bath or drink etc.Has anyone got any ideas? I think the dragon has been bullied from the food etc so has just been hiding for a long time. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
