Definitely something different. Under flourescent lighting they look purple. I have another one that was even more clouded in appearance but she wasn't cooperating for the camera. Both are the biggest garbage pails I have right now and I can't complain. Out of a 27 egg clutch only two failed to hatch, which I am certainly happy about.
