Posted by: woodsracer at Fri Aug 28 09:28:25 2009 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by woodsracer ] I had to go out of town for about a week, but the day I left, I could still palpate follicles, and the female was looking pretty dark. I had to have missed ovulation because when I got back home, she still had some distention, but I could no longer feel the "hard" lumps of the follicles. She then had a shed, which I marked down as a post-ov. shed. We'll see what happens. If nothing else I'll get a rough timeline of their breeding progression/gestation period.
