A 20L should be great for him provided he is right around 4' or under. Over 4' you probably want to go w/ something bigger. I keep a couple of Glossies. I have a Mojave (A.e. candida) from Lancaster, CA, and an AZ Glossy from Bagdad, AZ. Both great snakes. They make great captives.
