I've had a Glossy for 7 years. I got him in El Paso TX and I was told he was caught in that area. He grew to 30 inches. I used to have him in a 20 gal long which is an alright size, but now he's in a 60 gal and loves it. My Desert King that came in my front door several years ago always hides, but my Glossy likes to lay out in the open. He seems to prefer the cold side of the encloser and eats all winter where as my King quits eating for several months. He used to eat pinks but as soon as he was old enough to feed fuzzies he refused and would never eat another mouse no matter how I presented it to him ... even if I offered him a beer with it.

I know how frustrating it is to find info on these neat snakes. I love my Wally and would have a dozen more if I was assured they would eat mice. Some do, and some don't. Have fun with you little guy.
