Hi -- My EBT came out of hibernation last spring very late and looking pretty ragged. He had nasal discharge, lethargy & loss of appetite -- I thought I was going to lose him! Regardless, I soaked him regularly and offered him food. Then in the heat of the summer, he apparently buried himself for about 3-4 weeks (aestivating?) and recently re-appeared, looking great and eating like there's no tomorrow......!
Now I am wondering whether to bring him indoors this winter & skip hibernation, prepare him to hibernate indoors or let him hibernate naturally outdoors? He's still skinny but it's already september! What would you recommend? Thanks
