Posted by: Lenrely at Sat Sep 5 23:31:40 2009 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Lenrely ] I have never seen diversity among NWS hatchlings until now. Of the 3 times I've had litters every baby was identical, so my red phase female has just answered a long-pondered question. Although none of them show red at this age, 22 of them are "normal" and 15 are "banded" which means hypo. I had always assumed the mating of a red phase and a normal would produce some kind of intermediate, but they are all one or the other. Hope these photos show the difference.
