We've decided to start raising our own rats, mice, and possibly asfs. We try to stick with f/t but some of our new girls just won't take them. We've made a small rack w/ tubs for the rats and a few aquariums for the mice. Currently have 1.4 mice and 1.5 rats (possibly getting a few more &/or the asfs)

Couple questions: Do you deworm your breeders? If so, any affect toward feeding the babies when they arrive? How many female rats can comfortably be kept in a tub app 27X20X6? One of the female rats seems to have thinning fur on her shoulders. Is it something to be concerned with?

ANY basic rat health/breeding/rotating info would be greatly appreciated!
