i think it's too early too tell about the color. the mother wasn't very colorfull as a hatchling, but time can change alot. only two of eight eggs hatched. maybe next year I'll have better luck. by the way no trickery was involved in pairing them, and it was a first time breeding for both parents. here is the father and the mother.
