Have any of you experienced a diet shift in your adult box turtles? My adult male ornate usually eats the mix of vegetables, fruit, and protein that I prepare for him but in the last couple of weeks he is only interested in high protein foods (live foods, egg whites, ground turkey breast) and will not touch any vegetables or fruits. Not even any favorites like corn, which he used to devour! Are these sudden shifts in food preference common or might it point to a larger problem? Thanks for the help.
