Always good to have reassurance from someone else when you're working in isolation!

What's interesting is that they have not done this in past winters: they are now 4 years old and I guess their metabolism is changing from juvenile to adult. My third snake is a year younger and is still feeding voluntarily, although not as frequently as in summer.

They have all been shedding though, so I suppose not all metabolic functions shut down in the cold.

Anyway, I'll now leave them in peace until we all warm up.
