I was feeding my Tokay last night. I threw a couple of powdered crickets in when I got home from work. My Tokay knew right away she was being fed. My jaw literally DROPPED when I saw how she went about it. It was something I really wish I caugh on camera. The cricket would be on the other side of the cork, and the Tokay obviously on the other side. She came around the cork and stared for a good 15 seconds. Tilted her head and the eyes started to dilate. Back again behind the cork. Then back out again from the other side. She literally flanked the cricket. When she saw it again she went back and forth with her body and head. But the head bobble, head tilt, and the eyes caught my attention instantly. I was astounded by the intellect and thought they put into hunting. Incredible geckos that deserve so much more! [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
